About Me
Well i'm Alan, I am 19, and live in Ramsgate (in Kent, In the United Kingdom). Currently living on my own accord (which i suppose is for the best), i have two brothers, and two sisters and well that is the simple thing out of the way.
I am generally classed as a geek, but i prefer to think of myself as "Technically Informed", i have just finished a two year course at Thanet College, which was a BTEC National Diploma for I.T Practitioners (Run by EDEXCEL if you want to check it out). This was chosen due to my passion for computers and the technical world. During this time i completed numerous assignments and completed the course with three distinction grades (which is equivilient to 3 A's at A-Level). I am now taking a year out and looking at university or depending on how my working life goes a HNC. Both in computing so no real change from what i am keen on.
I have just finished my tenure with Homeinspectors.co.uk a company dedicated to training Homeinspectors, now back on the market and currently looking at freelance web design.
There is alot of music in this world, and films and other such activities in which we all partake in at some point during our lives, and here is some more on what i like.
Musically i listen to an array of artists and genres all of which dont really pin me to a particular type, but then what does. My taste includes Heavy Metal, Heavy Rock, Classic Rock, New Metal, Punk, and Trance and Dance. Alot of my tastes have spread from listening to bands like Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Green Day (when they started), the Offspring, Metalica (the list goes on). From here i have developed my artist base and now listen to bands like the Foo Fighters, Dragon Force, Fire Wind, A.F.I, A Perfect Circle and once again that list goes on.
Film wise anything Action, Adventure, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Documentary, Childrens (CGI Though) all fall into the gap. Anything from the Matrix Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Monsters Inc are a few but i will watch anything and everything.
The other thing i suppose i should mention is as most "geeks" are classified i do own a games console, well two infact one of which the Xbox and the other the Xbox 360.
